Every Certified Pre-Owned Chrysler, Jeep^®, Dodge or Ram vehicle is protected by a either standard 7-Year/100,000-Mile (for 2010 model year and newer vehicles) or a 6-Year/80,000-Mile (for 2009 model year and earlier vehicles) Powertrain Limited Warranty.

You may extend this coverage for as long as you own the vehicle with NEW Lifetime Powertrain Care, Lifetime Added Care and Lifetime Maximum Care Upgrade Plans.

When Plan Coverage Begins and Ends

All time and mileage specifications begin at the vehicle’s original warranty start date and 0 miles (when the vehicle was new). Plan expiration is specified in your Plan Provisions.

Car Rental Allowance and Trip Interruption coverage start on the date you purchase the Plan and cover repair instances when a replacement vehicle is not otherwise provided.⁽¹⁾ Roadside Assistance Towing and Repair coverage starts when any remaining portions of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty expire.

Personalized Plan Provisions

Upon approval of a Mopar^® Vehicle Protection application form, you will be mailed a Personalized Plan Provision. You may present these provisions to the servicing dealer when requesting plan service; however, they are not necessary in order to obtain service. Your servicing dealer can obtain plan information through the Chrysler Group LLC network.

$150 Deductible

You pay for the first $150 of the total cost of covered component repair per repair visit. The Plan pays the remaining cost of covered repairs.

Car Rental Allowance⁽¹⁾

Rental Car Coverage, Chrysler Group LLC will reimburse you up to $35 per day for a rental vehicle($175 maximum per occurrence) any time if: A) a component fails and the component is covered by the 6-Year/80,000-Mile or the 7-Year/100,000-Mile CPOV Powertrain Limited Warranty, B) any coverage is under the New Vehicle Basic Limited Warranty, C) the vehicle is inoperable because of the failure and D) repairs take overnight. Car Rental Allowance coverage is not provided where loaner vehicle coverage is provided by the warranty or
the dealer⁽²⁾.

$1,000 Trip Interruption Coverage⁽¹⁾

Plans will pay $1,000 for lodging, meals and car rental expenses if: 1) the vehicle becomes inoperable due to a covered component failure, and 2) the failure occurs more than 100 miles from home.

Towing/Roadside Assistance⁽¹⁾

Please call (800) 521-2779 to receive this service. The 7-Year/100,000-Mile (for 2010 model year and newer vehicles) or the 6-Year/80,000-Mile (for 2009 model year and earlier vehicles) Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Powertrain Limited Warranty provides 24-hour “Sign-and-Go” Towing and Roadside Assistance ($100 per occurrence). Any expense beyond $100 is your responsibility at the time and site of service. The Plan provides coverage for such items as:

• Towing to the nearest Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep or Ram dealer or Chrysler authorized repair facility
• Flat-tire change (with your good spare)
• Battery jump
• Out-of-gas fuel delivery (maximum two gallons)
• Lockout service (i.e., keys locked in car or frozen lock)

Towing Assistance will be dispatched only for a mechanical disablement, which renders the vehicle inoperative. (See dealer for exclusions.)

Transfer Policy

Remaining Plan coverage may be transferred one time only to the subsequent purchaser of the vehicle at the time of vehicle sale provided the 7-Year/100,000-Mile (for 2010 model year and newer vehicles) or 6-Year/80,000-Mile (for 2009 model year and earlier vehicles) limited warranty is also transferred. A $50 Plan transfer fee will be applied to transfer the Mopar^® Vehicle Protection Plan (in most states). Lifetime Certified Upgrade Plans are transferable only in the states of Florida and North Carolina. The 7-Year/100,000-Mile (for 2010 model year and newer vehicles) or 6-Year/80,000-Mile (for 2009 model year and earlier vehicles) Certified Pre-Owned Limited Vehicle Warranty must be transferred in tandem with the Lifetime Certified Upgrade Plan. A transfer fee of $150 applies for both the 7-Year/100,000-Mile and 6-Year/80,000-Mile Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Powertrain Warranty.

Eligible Vehicles

All Chrysler Group LLC Certified Vehicles with a 7-Year/100,000-Mile (for 2010 model year or newer vehicles) or 6-Year/80,000-Mile (for 2009 model year or earlier vehicles) Powertrain Limited Warranty and with no more than 75,000 miles are eligible. Lifetime Certified Upgrade Plans exclude Dodge Viper, all SRT® vehicles, Dodge Sprinter, diesel equipped and all Dodge Ram Cab/Chassis and Hybrid vehicles as well as vehicles used for police service, taxi, limousine, postal delivery or ambulance service.

⁽¹⁾ First Day Rental, Alternate Transportation, Towing & Roadside Assistance and Trip Interruption coverage expires at (a) seven years from the date the vehicle was sold as new or 100,000 miles (for vehicles with the 7-Year/100,000-Mile CPOV Limited Powertrain Base Warranty) or (b) six years from the date the vehicle was sold as new or 100,000 miles (for vehicles with the 6-Year/80,000-Mile CPOV Limited Powertrain Base Warranty.
⁽²⁾ The rental car must be obtained from a dealer or from a licensed rental agency. Rental coverage is subject to state and local laws and those imposed by the rental agency. Chrysler is not responsible for any refusal of a rental agency to rent a vehicle to you.
